Sandy is inspired by beautiful landscape of Nantucket and the Texas Hill Country. She has been a member of the Artists Association of Nantucket (AAN) since 1996 as an oil painter. Sandy won the AAN Robert McDougall award for Promising New Artist in 1998. Besides the AAN, she has exhibited at East End Gallery, Nantucket Looms, the John Rugge Antique Shop, and Old Spouter Gallery in Nantucket. Her work can also be found at the Hannah Gallery in Fredericksburg, TX.
